ArtResin™ is a self-leveling crystal clear epoxy resin that forms a beautiful, durable finish for any artwork. Formulated with unparalleled non-yellowing protection, ArtResin™ has a HALS (hindered amine light stabilizer) added for extremely efficient long term yellowing protection. Designed specifically for creative projects, this crystal clear resin is easy to use. ArtResin™'s 1:1 mixing ratio is user-friendly with easy to understand directions. Simply combine equal parts Resin and Hardener, stir, then pour or spread over your project. The topcoat is self-leveling and fully cures in 72 hours. ArtResin™ has been designated by the American Society for Testing and Materials as non-toxic when used as directed. It is formulated using the highest quality materials and therefore produces no VOCs or fumes. It is a clean system, meaning there are no solvents or non-reactive diluents—everything in it reacts so nothing is free to become airborne and cause health issues. It is also non-flammable. For all these reasons, it is therefore classified as a non-hazardous material and is shippable by air. Furthermore, many curatives have a powerful odor, however ArtResin has only a low odor and is applicator friendly. Key Features:* ArtResin™ Mini KIt, Starter kit, Studio Kit & Accessory Kit* Fully cures in 72 hours* No VOCs or fumes (conforms to ASTM D4236)* Non-toxic (when used as directed)* Long term yellowing protection* Self-leveling* Durable crystal clear finish* Easy to understand directions Perfect For:* Enhancing and protecting your work* Acrylic, watercolor* Oil paint that has completely dried* Spraypaint, encaustic, ink* Oil pastel, sculpture, silicone molds,* Other found objects. ArtResin™ is considered non-toxic when used as directed, however, there are some common sense safety precautions that every user should follow: Wear gloves. Epoxy resin is very sticky in its liquid form, so gloves will protect the user from a mess, as well as skin irritation. Clean skin promptly with soap and water if it does come in contact with the product. If the product somehow comes in contact with your eyes, flush with water repeatedly and do not rub. Promptly seek medical attention. Work in a well-ventilated area. Wear a respirator if ventilation is poor. The worst experience a sculptor can have is to create something amazing, only to have the project fail due to the absence of sturdy support. Creative Mark's fully adjustable range of armatures come as a figure or a head-bust combo. Our armatures are malleable enough to provide true artistic freedom to create, while also providing a sturdy skeleton to hold the weight of modeling material. Each armature has a stiff steel post, and a base made of laminated particleboard. The aluminum wire is lightweight, pliable, non-staining, and non-corrosive. Each head has a partial neck and the space to build a unique bust. The base of the neck is wrapped in additional wire so that you may include the collarbone. Key Features: * Made of Aluminum * Pliable, non-staining, and non-corrosive wire * Laminated particleboard base * Stiff steel post * Each head has a partial neck * Neck base is wrapped in additional wire * Space to build a unique bust * Perfect For: * Sculpture applications * A base for moist clay or plastilina * Figurative sculpture * Lifesize bust portraits * Fine artists * Supporting polymer clay * Classroom and workshop environments Please note, you cannot put the armature in a kiln during firing. The clay will shrink, but the wire will not, resulting in cracking and breakage. You should remove the armature and hollow out the clay head before firing. We suggest using a wet and twisted newspaper armature as the paper will burn off during firing. See More
