Brown Unrivaled substrates for pastel and other fine art media Art Spectrum Colourfix Pastel Paper is made of acid-free, archival 340-gram watercolor paper and features a lightfast acrylic primer with a coarse ground of pigment and a mixture of several types of silica which impart a fine tooth. This tooth grips the media like nothing else we've seen, offering excellent resistance for soft pastels and oil pastels. The Colourfix surface can take many pastel layers, which means that there is no need to spray layers with fixative constantly. Also, the sheet may be worked on with all wet media from oil colors to thin acrylic-based colors and markers of all sorts. Available in 340g weight watercolor paper with color priming in 1/4" sheets that measure 9.5 x 12.5" or; 19.5 x 27.5." Each Colourfix sheet features a beautiful white border.
