The gentle, non-hazardous soap-based cleaner works within minutes for oil colors and hours for dried acrylics. Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner leaves natural and synthetic brushes soft and clean while removing all paint residue. Key Features: * Gentle, effective brush cleaner * Soap-based formula * Non-hazardous and low-vapor * Foams a little when scrubbed Perfect For: * Natural and synthetic brushes * Oil, alkyd, and acrylic paint * Removing wet and dried paint * Cleaning palette knives and more The new soap-based Brush Cleaner is better than the old formulation. Winsor & Newton changed the product name from 'Brush Cleaner and Restorer' to 'Brush Cleaner' to clarify the differences. The new cleaner has a soap base that foams a little when scrubbed. Tip: Avoid contact with varnished or lacquered surfaces, such as brush handles, as the cleaner will soften any paint or stain on the handle. It's also best to use this cleaner at the end of your painting session and use a different rinse aid while painting. Instructions: Dip the brush into the liquid and scrub a little if necessary. The resulting foam will help rinse the pigments and binders out of the brush. Then, wipe the brush with a cloth and rinse with water. If the brush is very clogged, it may be necessary to soak it for longer, possibly overnight. You can use a rubber band or clamp to suspend the brush in the liquid. See More

This stand oil joins the molecules together, leaving less space for oxygen and hence a longer drying time. Thinner - Although water is suitable as a diluent for the color, its speedy evaporation can make the color thicken upon the palette much quicker than conventional oil color would when used with turpentine. Varnish Remover - Artisan Gloss, Matt, and Satin varnishes can be removed with Artisan Varnish Remover when dirty. NOTE: Please do not use with traditional oil paints. Please use a traditional oil painting medium See More

Key Features: * Accelerates the drying time * Increases gloss & translucency of colors * For information click on yellow technote icon Perfect For: * Making custom painting mediums * Accelerating the drying of oil colors * Professional oil painters * Maintaining consistency * Preserving gloss Cold Pressed Linseed Oil - An oil extracted without the use of heat. Cold Pressed Linseed Oil makes oil colour "fatter". It reduces viscosity for better flow while adding transparency and gloss. Drying Poppy Oil - Extracted from the seeds of the poppy plant. Drying Poppy Oil makes oil colour "fatter" and has a pale character. The fast drying oil stabilizes a colour’s film. Dries more slowly than linseed oil and preserves good, clear colours even in the spectrum of light colours. Drying Linseed Oil - Fastest drying linseed oil, increases gloss, transparency, and reduces consistency. It decreases the consistency and transparency of the oil paint. Add to other oils to accelerate drying times. Linseed Stand Oil - For glazing and as an alternative for Refined Linseed Oil, due to its pale colour and excellent levelling. Linseed Stand Oil makes oil colour "fatter". It's a pale viscous oil that slows drying while imparting a smooth, tough enamel finish with no brush marks. Refined Linseed Oil - A low viscosity alkali refined oil of pale colour that dries slowly. Refined Linseed Oil makes oil colour "fatter". It reduces the consistency of the paint. Slower drying variant of the linseed oils. Add to fast drying oils to balance drying times. Bleached Linseed Oil - A refined pale oil which will improve the flow of colour and dries slightly faster than Refined Linseed Oil. Use with pale colours and white. Thickened Linseed Oil - Amber coloured, partially oxidised oil. Makes oil colour "fatter". A faster drying viscose oil. Can be used in combination with Sansodor to accelerate drying rates further. Safflower Oil - Extracted from the seeds of the safflower plant. Makes oil colour "fatter" and has a pale character. It's a slow drying oil that stabilizes paint film. Use with whites, pale and bright colours. The pale colour preserves the brightness of pigments. Liquin™ Light Gel - halves the drying time of oil colour and produces a smooth gel. Creates low-viscosity, gel-like paint film that is easier to work with and reduces brush stroke retention. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Liquin™ Fine Detail - The most fluid medium within the Liquin™ family. Add to colour to produce a low-viscosity mixture. Increases fluidity and reduces brushstroke retention. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Liquin™ Impasto - A paste-like, semi-gloss version of Liquin™ that halves the drying time of oil and produces a crisp texture. Adds viscosity to your paint that retains marks from brushes or palette knives. It allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Speeds drying (touch dry in 1-6 days, depending on paint thickness). Resists yellowing. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat. Liquin™ Oleopasto - A paste-like, semi-matte version of Liquin™ that halves the drying time of oil. Creates a viscous paint that holds many marks from brushes or palette knives.
