Perfect for Plein air painting and travel, ARCHES® Watercolor Paper is ideal for watercolor, gouache, ink, acrylics, and drawing. Made on a traditional cylinder mold in France, this paper has a balanced natural grain that softens evenly when wet. The long 100% cotton fibers give the paper its strength and a beautiful natural white color. Each sheet is externally and internally gelatin sized "to the core." Gelatin sizing preserves the luster and transparency of watercolors and gives the paper added strength to withstand erasing and scratching. You can rely on ARCHES® to always be consistent.
