Talens Amsterdam All Acrylics offers a wide range of auxiliary acrylic mediums to achieve virtually any special effect you can dream up. With mediums from Gel to Modeling Paste, you can influence the properties of your acrylic colors to suit your whim and your painting style- make paint thicker, thinner; glossier, more matte; or model to high textural peaks. Available in convenient 250ml and 1 liter sizes. Gel Medium (Gloss) - Increases the gloss and transparency of acrylic colors while retaining the viscosity. Milky white, dries to a colorless and transparent glossy finish. Use as an adhesive on all sorts of materials. Gel Medium (Matte) - Reduces the gloss and increases transparency of acrylic colors, while maintaining the viscosity. Milky white, dries to a colorless and transparent matte finish. Use as an adhesive on all sorts of materials. Modeling Paste - Creates strong relief grounds. Paste can be used on its own or in combination with acrylics in any ratio, but as the paste has a white pigment, the color of the paint will be lighter. Can be painted over with acrylics or oil paint. Waterproof and non-yellowing, can be mixed with other gel or acrylic mediums or thinned with water. For very dramatic thicknesses in structure, mix the paste with 1/3 of Amsterdam Extra Heavy Gel Medium to avoid cracking due to shrinking during drying.
