Mould-made in France, Arches Natural White Watercolor Paper is 100% cotton rag watercolor paper. Considered the most popular in the world, each gelatin-sized Arches watercolor paper sheet has four deckle edges and may be repeatedly erased and over-painted while still maintaining its beautiful surface quality and integrity. Arches natural white watercolor paper is available in all three popular watercolor paper finishes, hot press, cold press and rough grain Ideal for watercolor painting, as for all wet techniques such as ink, gouache and acrylic. Arches natural white watercolor paper has been a favorite among artists for over 500 years, and it's easy to see why! Made from 100% cotton linters and both internally and externally gelatin sized, acid-free Aquarelle watercolor paper is one of the finest art papers in the world. Sized to the core with natural gelatin, a process exclusive to ARCHES®. Even if it is soaked for a long time, the paper will still retain enough gelatin not to become too absorbent. Arches Hot Pressed papers are plate smooth and are ideal for traditional watercolor techniques, as well as printmaking, pen and ink drawing, and airbrushing. The rich Arches Cold Pressed surface is a particular favorite of illustrators, watercolorists, and airbrush artists. For a bolder, more robust surface, Arches Rough provides just enough texture allowing for easy working, and is strong enough to maintain its character even after reworking. The Rough texture is also used by watercolorists, airbrush artists, and acrylic painters. 260 lb. is approximately the same weight as 140 lb. paper but in double elephant (available in larger sizes than 22x30"). Jacquard Cyanotype Potassium Ferricyanide, 1lb JarSave Up to10%Off list…The Cyanotype process is incredibly simple and only employs two inexpensive chemicals and UV sunlight. Prints can be created on any natural fiber: paper, cotton, silk, wool, wood, etc. Jacquard has made Cyanotype printing easy as pie with pre-sensitized fabric that is ready for cyanotype printing.… Harness the power of the sun to make detailed prints from virtually any object Cyanotype sun-printing process is one of the earliest photographic processes and is distinctive for its Prussian blue monochromatic prints. Famously, cyanotype was used by Ana Atkins and other field biologists for indexing plant specimens with what were called photograms at the time. The Cyanotype process is incredibly simple and only employs two inexpensive chemicals and UV sunlight. Prints can be created on any natural fiber: paper, cotton, silk, wool, wood, etc. Jacquard has made Cyanotype printing easy as pie with pre-sensitized fabric that is ready for cyanotype printing. Simply pull the sheet out of the package, place objects or an inverted photographic negative on top, expose to light for three to fifteen minutes, submerge the fabric in water to reveal the blue cyanotype print, and finally hang the fabric to line dry. With Jacquard’s Cyanotype Pretreated Mural Fabric you can actually create a full-body print by laying on top of the mural fabric for the duration of exposure while not moving. The creative possibilities for Photographers, Mixed Media Artists, and Quilters are endless! If you would prefer to use your own papers or fabric Jacquard has made the chemistry of Cyanotype attainable with lightproof black bottles of Potassium Ferricyanide and Ferric Ammonium Citrate. The chemicals used for cyanotype are inexpensive and go a long way. Despite their perhaps alarming names, both are safe to handle and mix. That said, care should be taken to avoid ingestion, inhalation, and contact with skin. The instructions for the use of Potassium Ferricyanide and Ferric Ammonium Citrate are included in the link bellow Great for photographers, mixed media artists, printmakers, quilters, kids and more, the cyanotype process is easy, forgiving, quick, magical and fun. Capture the nuance of every shadow Key Features: * Harness the power of the sun to make detailed prints * Simply place the object on the sensitized surface and expose to sunlight (UV) * Sun exposure time is 3-15 minutes * Pre-sensitized Cyanotype fabric Perfect For: * Quilters and Surface Design Artists * Photographers * Mixed media artists, printmakers, quilters See More
