Annigoni Drawing Paper is made by evenly distributing a mixture of beige-colored cotton and dark cellulosic fibers on a slowly rotating wire cylinder before it is pressed onto special Magnani marking felts and dried. The soft yet rough paper texture is ideal for using charcoal, graphite, pastel, and light ink washes. During his life, Pietro sometimes primed the paper with rabbit skin glue so that he could use oil paints on the surface. Annigoni is a truly unique paper not found anywhere else in the world.
