Ampersand’s Scratchbord Tools make precision Scratchbord techniques easy!  Use the Scratch Knives to produce fine details, the Line Tool for for easy parallel lines and cross hatching, the Fiber Brush to remove erasure dust and soften hard edges, and the Wire Brush to create random textures like hair or grass.  Three grades of Oil-Free Steel Wool helps remove pigment from large areas and helps to create tonal values.  Tools are available individually or as a great kit set for beginners!

Scratchbord Fiber Brush Tool:  Use like an eraser to soften edges and create gradual, tonal values (contains fiberglass, not recommended for children).

Scratchbord Line Tool: Gives you the ability to make 5 lines at once.  Creates easy parallel lines and makes for fast crosshatching!  

Scratchbord Knife Holder and Nibs (set of 2): Featuring one fine and one curved knife nib, this is the best tool to initially learn the art of scratchboard with.

Scratchbord Wire Brush: Helps create random textures like hair, grass, and fur.
