Alumilite Amazing Mold Putty Kit

This easy-to-use 2-part silicone mold putty cures in just under 20 min and is great for creating reproductions of small items. Teachers love to use Amazing Mold Putty because it sets so quickly and allows students to cast an object within one class period.

INSTRUCTIONS: Measure out equal amounts of parts A and B. Knead together until you achieve a uniform color. Roll into a ball, and apply pressure to remove seams in putty. Gently roll putty over and around the original object. Refrain from smearing or pulling the putty across the original, as you may lose detail and proper coverage. Once covered, set the mold on a flat surface and gently press to flatten the bottom so the mold sits level. Allow to cure for 15-20 minutes before demolding. Do not use warm putty, as heat accelerates the cure and reduces open time. The ideal temperature is 70-75 degrees F.

Alumilite Amazing Sealer Semi-Gloss, 16oz

Amazing Sealer is a multipurpose water-based glue and protective coating.  When wet, the glue is white and turns clear as it dries.

INSTRUCTIONS: Using a brush or foam applicator, apply a thin coat to the surface, brushing in one direction. A second coat is recommended to ensure all surfaces have been covered. Dry time will be based on the thickness of the coating and ambient temperatures. You can accelerate drying with a fan, heat gun (low heat), or blow dryer. If desired, epoxy coatings can be applied once fully dried.

Use as a glue - Apply a thin layer to adhere crafting paper, card stock, fabrics, scrapbooking supplies, and more.

Use as a general-purpose top-coat on art projects, crafts, and photos, the sealant locks in colors and provides a finished look.

Use before epoxy. This is especially important when adding a top coat of epoxy, which helps eliminate bubbles leaching out from the undersides of photos or embedments. It also provides a barrier between the artwork and the epoxy to ensure the resin does not affect the original artwork. Ensure Amazing Sealer is thoroughly dried before applying epoxy.

Use as a wood sealant - Wood and other porous materials such as cloth, stone, and tile can cause a continual production of air bubbles to rise out of the porosity and get trapped in curing epoxy, resulting in many champagne-sized air bubbles. Applying 2 thin coats of Amazing Sealer will help to minimize this occurrence and produce a more optically clear epoxy coating.

Simply rinse your brushes with warm water to remove the wet sealer. A mild detergent can be added to the water if desired. Keep the product capped tightly when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place out of sunlight. Do not allow it to freeze.

Freeze Warning - Do not allow the sealer to freeze. During the winter months, this product has a higher likelihood of freezing during transit, which can cause the product to harden and not return to a liquid state. Ordering ahead of the winter season is highly recommended. Frozen product is not refundable or replaceable.
