Williamsburg Titanium Oil Ground is an oil ground made with Titanium Dioxide and marble dust for the desired amount of tooth and absorbency. Ground in 100% alkali-refined linseed oil. Contains no zinc or alkyd. Just the right amount of tooth and absorbency. Combination of pigment, marble dust and alkali refined linseed oil used to preparea surface before painting and dry to a semi-absorbent, satin finish.

NOTE: Stir separated mixture to an even consistency before using

SANDING OIL GROUNDS: Do NOT sand Lead Oil Grounds once dry.The dust created from sanding lead products is harmful. Titanium Oil Grounds can be sanded if desired. Always use a respirator when sanding to avoid inhalation as airborne particulates can cause respiratory irritation.

DRY TIME: Each coat will take approximately 2-3 days to dry. Be sure that each coat is dry before applying subsequent coats. After the last coat is touch drywe recommend waiting a minimum of two weeks before painting.

STORAGE: Any unused thinned ground can be saved for future use. Stir before using.

SUPPLIES NEEDED: Oil Ground, Solvent (odorless mineral spirits,mineral spirits or turpentine), Palette knife, Paint can opener or screwdriver, Brush (natural bristle), Rigid Support or properly sized canvas
