This set of natural sea sponges includes 5 natural coarse seagrass and sea wool sponges which are carefully harvested in Greece under strict control to keep them free of any contaminants for any myriad of artistic uses! The sponges measure about 2" wide. Natural sponges not only hold color and water between their fibers but also absorb it directly into the fiber itself, allowing for greater color load and longer application time. Perfect for lifting paint and for softening and blending colors.
