Far more desirable than cotton, linen retains its natural oils, which preserves the material's inherent flexibility and strength. Additionally, this retention of natural oils gives linen the unique ability to resist mold and mildew, unlike cotton. Linen can be thinner and lighter than cotton while maintaining a higher weight load, increasing its durability under heavy-handed painters. Linen will not become slack over time, as cotton is prone to do.

Our New York Central® Unprimed Belgian Linen is made from the absolute highest quality flax fibers and is a beautiful, pure product that maintains a natural weave.
