Claessens linen is made with only the finest linen flax. Great care is taken to produce each roll. Quality control carefully inspects the canvas by hand for faults and removes any abnormally thick threads. Synthetic glue, which is less sensitive to humidity, is used rather than hide glue. The finished canvases are placed on rolls and stocked in the warehouse. There, the rolls are put into boxes or tubes for shipping. These stringent, painstaking steps create an archival, exceptional linen canvas worthy of your finest masterpiece!
