Each sheet has two distinct surface textures, one side smooth and the other grainy. Thus the sheet is adaptable to an endless array of techniques. No matter what media you use soft pastel, oil pastel, pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, watercolor, designers' colors or acrylic you'll find the Mi-Teintes sheet to be highly receptive and easy to work on. Incredible lightfast colors and rough texture make these pads the perfect acid-free, archival foundation for pastel and pencil.
