Made of solid brass to rigid specifications. The key to the system is the ingenious "monkey" hanger which is also 100% solid brass. Raising or lowering the monkey will not scratch the surface of the rod so the system always looks fantastic. Rods will never warp, discolor, rust or malfunction. Each monkey holds frames up to 30 pounds. For pictures over 24" in width or over 30 lbs you can use two monkeys on two parallel rods. Use OOK® brand rods or any other brand of French/Brass rods you may already have. Rods come with one monkey and you can buy additional monkeys for hanging an ensemble of pictures from one rod. Sold in 6 ft and 8 ft lengths, they are easily cut to desired size. In most cases, you’ll want them cut 5 ft from floor for eye level applications. Each rod has rubber tips to protect walls from scratches or nicks. Brass J mouldings, which are attached to the top of your walls, are easily installed and are paintable to match wall if desired. We recommend doing the entire wall or room. This will allow you to easily slide rods where you want them and rearrange pictures in seconds!
