Michael Harding Non-Absorbent Acrylic Primer Dark Raw Sienna 1LSave Up to25%Off listBrown Tired of dull flat oil paints? You need a non-absorbent ground! Regular acrylic gesso is notorious for leeching oil from oil paints, and absorbent acrylic gesso makes oil paints look dull, flat, and muted. Unlike those acrylic gesso's Michael Harding's primer is non-absorbent and preserves the luster of oil paint. Painter's Color Diary® Review "Over the decades, I have continued to make tests of a diverse and ever-growing collection of oil paints, taking note of how they respond to the addition of white paint to analyze tinting strength or adding a glaze medium to note how the pigments react transparently. Sometimes I will test one color, such as Raw Sienna, from different paint manufacturers to determine which version will be best for my needs. Before using The Painter's Color Diary®, I did these tests on my painting or palette and wiped them away. With this wonderful tool, I now keep a record and note each color and company. For me, The Painter's Color Diary® is the perfect color tool for artists working in oils. Printed on high-quality canvas paper and protected by vellum sleeves, this pad allows for the testing and recording of colors with no bleed-through. I highly recommend the Painter's Color Diary®, not only for students but for professional artists. My color struggle now will be to decide whether to keep the pages in the book or post them on the studio wall!" John Wellington - Painter and teacher See More
