Centurion Deluxe Oil Primed 3"x5" Linen Panel, 12 PackSave Up to84%Off listWhite Master Quality Archival Deluxe Linen Panels! Superb performance and color retention! Exclusive OP enhanced oil priming As an oil colorist it is important to work on oil primed surfaces and not universal primed surfaces. The reason is that universal primed surfaces are semi-absorbent. Gesso is absorbent even if it is plate smooth. The paint does not get absorbed as much and sits on the surface more making it easy to blend and manipulate. Granted it is not highly absorbent but the fact remains that some oil will get into the primer and flatten the image. You can get around this by using an under-painting oil ground on top of the surface of a universal ground canvas but this is very time consuming and expensive. Unlike universal ground, our oil priming chemically bonds with the oil paint and is non-absorbent allowing the paint to sit up on the surface with the correct refraction quality of the oil binder. If you use any high-quality oil color we urge you to use an oil primed surface and now we make it affordable! Exclusive OP Enhanced Oil Priming! Centurion Deluxe Professional Oil Primed Linen Panels, specifically designed for oil painters. Superb receptive surface accepts even the thinnest oil color lay down without fragmenting on the surface and is a permanent surface as colors adhere better on it than any other oil primed canvas on the market today! Soho Artist Oil Color Titanium White, 430ml CanSave Up to81%Off listWhite Artist Oils at The Best Value! Good color is vital for the success of the painter! Thick and Rich Color! Good color is vital for the success of the painter. Only oil colors that act like oil colors and provide for lasting and predictable results should be considered by any artist at any skill level. Many brands of student grade oil color don't feel like genuine oil colors and don't mix well, ultimately achieving less appealing results in a finished painting. This artist range of colors is designed for all artists at all skill levels. It is particularly well loved by oil colorists that use lots of color seeking high performance and economy. SoHo Oils are slowly ground on triple roller mills allowing pure refined linseed oil to completely encapsulate the pigment for maximum luminosity and superb handling properties. SoHo Urban Artist Oil Colors eliminate the need for student oils, providing first time artists and professional artists on a tight budget the use of "real" color with a buttery consistency, excellent pigment load and lightfast results. That way, once they can afford better, they can move up to a more expensive brand, already familiar with what a true oil color can do. Glazing is no problem with these colors, and palette knife painting is quick and expressive, just as you would expect from far more costly brands. If you are looking for the next step up in color, we recommend Lukas Studio Oil Colors.
