Green Ideal for dyeing plant-based fibers such as cotton, linen, and rayon! Jacquard Procion MX Fiber Reactive Dyes are vibrant "cold water dyes" that you can fix chemically to plant-based fibers with soda ash. Procion MX powder dye does not require electricity and is ideal for batik, tie-dye, shibori, ice dyeing, low water immersion dyeing, printing, and direct painting. This fiber-reactive dye is known for the permanent wash-fast bond it creates with cellulosic fibers like cotton, linen, canvas, hemp, jute, ramie, sisal, paper, and rayon. Procion dyes are permanent, colorfast, and very washable. Generally, one 2/3 oz jar will dye more than one pound of fabric. White Absolute Vinyl Colour On All Supports Lefranc & Bourgeois's FLASHE is a vinyl-based opaque paint that dries to a uniform, velvety matte finish. Vinyl paint is like acrylic in that you can use it on different surfaces, but FLASHE has a velvety matt finish and can be painted on glass and plastic without a primer, unlike acrylic. Special properties in the paint allow you to apply the same color to different surfaces without any big color shift, and you can dilute the paint with water to create wash effects. The paint adheres well and is resistant to weather, which makes it perfect for painting theatre decorations, faux finishes, frescos, and more. All FLASHE colours have a distinctive matt finish, except the iridescent colours, which have a luminous, satin finish due to their pearlescent pigmentation. You can only remove the paint with alcohol-based solvents. Apply opaque colours with a single application, semi-opaque colours with two applications, and transparent colours with three to four applications. Watercolour: To create washes and patinas, dilute with between 1/3 and 2/3 water as desired. Varnish: Matt varnish can be applied on top to maintain the vibrancy of the colour without altering the shade. Gloss varnish will make shades a tone deeper and more vivid.
