Matisse Derivan Screen Printing Ink 1L - BlackSave Up to50%Off list
Starting At: 7.83
Black A totally water-based, silk screen printing ink! Matisse Derivan Screen Printing Ink has been formulated as a safe, non-toxic silk screen printing ink for fabric and tie-dyeing. It can be used in the classroom or at home safely without the worry of being exposed to harmful solvents such as white spirits, turps or thinners. Matisse Derivan Screen Printing Ink is water-based and washes up in water (before it is heat set) but has excellent rub resistance and lightfastness once heat set. All the colours may be intermixed to form bright secondary and tertiary colours. White (Opaque) may be mixed if pale pastel opaque prints are desired on dark colored fabrics. The Screen Reducer is a thick milky colored paste which dries colorless and transparent. It is used for intermixing with standard printing colours in order to extend deep colours into pale or lighter transparent shades (Red into transparent pink, etc.). It is mainly for white or pale fabrics. Best results are obtained from absorbent fabrics; avoid waterproof fabrics as they tend to inhibit penetration and repel the water-based colors. Clean up is a breeze! Simply wast all utensils, brushes and hands with soap and water to clean up! Key Features: * Water-based screen printing ink * Non-toxic * Clean up with soap and water * Excellent rub resistance * High lightfastness ratings Perfect For: * Use on absorbent fabrics, such as cotton, bamboo and hemp * Easy and safe to use on delicate fabrics; such as swimwear, baby wear and undergarments * Screen printing on dark colored fabrics See More -

Handmade in Germany in one of the world's finest brush factories that can trace its roots to the 18th CenturyHandmade, designed, and tested to exacting standards, Hamburg Premier Professional Brushes will provide you with an amazing painting experience and exceptional results. All Hamburg Brushes are guaranteed to meet or exceed your expectations! Until recent protection bans were enacted, Mongoose hair brushes were a long-time favorite workhorse brush of the oil painter. Mongoose was thirsty and supple enough to absorb and lay down large quantities of glaze but had the durable strength to manage heavy-bodied paints with ease and mastery, with a hair texture evenly between hog and sable. We enlisted the help of a world-class German brush maker after the ban was enacted to develop a brush with the superb qualities of natural mongoose. It became a passion and a true labor of love to create the perfect brush, tirelessly testing multiple prototypes, tweaking and correcting each time. When testing the resulting line of brushes developed with a stable of well-known professional painters, all feedback was incredibly positive, and created an air of excitement among them! Most believed it not only matched but actually improved on natural Mongoose, providing better heft, absorbency, and shaping of the bristles. Hamburg Premier Professional Brushes feature: Brights, Filberts, and Rounds. Created from a strategic proprietary blend of natural and synthetic blended multi-filament sizes of hair. The blend harmoniously matches the strength and resilience of Mongoose! Our proprietary, carefully balanced blend of both multiple-diameter synthetic filaments and natural hair varieties produced more reliable pointing and cleaner brush edges than Mongoose had been able to provide, while being absorbent and durable. Brush bellies trap more thinned paint and glazes with this formulation, allowing for glazing while maintaining detailed precision. The balanced blend, just like Mongoose, provides the hair strength to paint with heavy-bodied paint for more impasto applications. Yet, unlike mongoose, cleans easier and more completely due in part to the synthetic filament content, easily coming back to shape for the next painting session. Hamburg Professional Synthetic Blend Brushes from Creative Mark are skillfully crafted by hand by a world-class German brush maker. Each brush is created with an 8-step process. First, hairs are carefully blended exactly by a skilled brush dresser, painstakingly pinching the shape into an exact bundle for the shape and size. The bundles are hand-tied, shaped, and measured. They are then placed into a nickel-plated brass ferrule and secured with polyurethane glue. After drying, the ferrule is glued to the handle and double crimped extra deep to permanently secure the brush. The handles of the Hamburg brushes are hardwood Birch and are sustainable control harvested from Bavarian and Baltic forests (FSC Certified). Fashioned to provide a perfectly balanced feel, each handle is primed and then passes through multiple applications of lacquer coating, giving the handle a smoothly polished, deep black color. Hamburg fan brushes follow this same process but are designed with 100% Badger hair that is slightly stiffer, for the purpose of providing maximum blending results. See More -

The color system allows for middle tone, dark, and highlight tone availability to aid in the creation of the most lifelike works of art. If you LOVE Prismacolor, You will LOVE Cezanne® - The same - if not better - performance for a better value! Over the years, the binders for the lead have been significantly improved. These pencils have the state of the art binders, which allow the color to release easily onto any paper, board, and even canvas! The lead is characterized as being soft with a large 3.3mm diameter lead that can hold a crisp, sharp point for pinpoint control if required. Pre-sharpened premium pencils allow for great blending, layering, and shading with each other. The soft, vibrant colored leads are easier to blend, shade, and layer. One of the most often overlooked qualities of a pencil is the wood used to encase the lead. However, this is as important as the lead itself. Many lower-cost colored pencils use soft or cheap wood. You can notice this when sharpening. Unfortunately, if you have purchased such a set, you know this already. Cezanne® colored pencils use top quality hardwood that is easy to sharpen. The lead is bonded to the casement, so it is unbelievably break-resistant during the sharpening process. Although this technology has been around for years, many of the cheap brands don't use it because it costs more money. Often, the barrel finish is widely overlooked. However, this, too, has been aided by superior matching techniques of resin color and colored lead. The ends of Cezanne® pencils are dipped twice. The first dip provides a good seal, and the second dip offers a very close depiction of the colored lead, making color selection easy. The final test of any colored pencil set is the assortment of colors. Too often, cheap pencils use cheap pigments, and for the most part, many companies don't work with real artists. Cezanne's color range has been created with a great amount of input from artists such as yourself and is high quality and non-toxic. You can use the selection for portraiture, landscapes, seascapes, and varied brilliant designs. Colorless Blender Box of 6 Mix and soften your colored pencil drawings with Cezanne's pigment-free blenders. The colorless wax allows you to blend and soften colors without altering or dulling colors for a more painterly effect. Non-photo Blue Box of 6: Non-photo blue pencils are perfect for initial sketches, especially for digital pieces. The pencils originated over 80 years ago when it was discovered that this particular blue is unphotographable. Modern scanners and cameras can detect non-photo blue, but with some simple photo editing, those marks are easily erased. See More -

GOLDEN Open Acrylic Paints Bone/Ivory Black 2 ozSave Up to30%Off list
Starting At: 8.74
Black Slow-drying acrylic paint that enables painters to explore techniques GOLDEN OPEN paint is a slow-drying acrylic paint that enables painters to explore techniques traditionally reserved for oil paints. The slow-drying quality gives artists longer working time for easier blending and even subtractive techniques. There is a unique thinner and mediums for use with OPEN, but the paints are compatible with regular fast-drying acrylics and clean up with soap and water like regular acrylics. OPEN Acrylics are formulated with an optimum balance of pigment load and 100% acrylic polymer dispersion to produce a paint with a uniquely relaxed set of working characteristics and a versatility that allows artists to explore a wider range of techniques such as portraiture and landscape painting that rely on softening, shading, glazing, and creating fine detail. Increased working time of these colors expands their range to include more traditional techniques once only possible with oils Key Features:* Resists skinning, remain wet on the palette for extended periods* Feels like no other paint* Stays wet longer* Expands the boundaries of acrylics* Formulated with an optimum balance* Tubes: 2oz. & 5oz. / Jars: 4oz. & 8oz.* Titanium White: 32oz. Jar* 100% acrylic polymer dispersion* Perfect For:* A uniquely relaxed set of working characteristics and versatility* Allowing artists to explore a wider range of techniques* Portraiture and landscape painting* Softening, shading, glazing, and creating fine detail* Plein air painting, mono-printing, and screenprinting* Drying time can also be accelerated by mixing OPEN with faster-drying acrylics like our Fluid and Heavy Body colors* Reducing the amount of paint wasted and preserving color mixtures for future use How long does it take for Golden Open acrylics to dry? GOLDEN OPEN typically dries in 3-5 hrs. To control viscosity while maintaining the maximum working time Use OPEN Mediums and Thinner. To accelerate drying time, OPEN Acrylics may be blended with faster-drying GOLDEN Acrylics, Gels, and Mediums. OPEN Acrylics resist skinning, remain wet on the palette for extended periods, and exhibit a remarkable versatility that allows them to be used directly from the tube for plein air painting, mono-printing, and screenprinting. OPEN Acrylics may be blended with other GOLDEN Acrylic Colors, Mediums, and Gels, with the open time of the resulting mixtures being proportionately reduced. Because OPEN Acrylics dry slowly, painters who cover their palettes or use sealed containers have been able to use the same colors for weeks, reducing the amount of paint wasted and preserving color mixtures for future use. Charvin Professional Oil Paint Extra-Fine, Mars Black - 60mlSave Up to71%Off list
Starting At: 7.19
Black LUXURY THAT INSPIRES! Luxury Artist Oils from the French Riviera, perfect for Plein air painting! Based on over 175 years of experience, Charvin has created high-quality oil paint at an extremely reasonable price point. Charvin Extra Fine Professional Oil Paints use a combination of the finest in traditional and modern pigments, bound with a blend of linseed and non-yellowing poppy oils, for a smooth, creamy consistency and vibrant color. Charvin Maison de Haute Couleur ("House of High Color") has been meticulously creating fine artists' oil colors, serving artists like Cezanne, Bonnard, and Ambrogiani. Using only the highest-grade pigments that are triple-milled to the finest particle size, Charvin Extra Fine Oil Colors span a naturally progressing color range from the subtlest shades to brilliant hues. The main binding ingredient in Charvin Extra Fine oils is poppy oil, which dries slower than linseed oil (but without its tendency to yellow over time), and provides a rich creaminess to the paint. Permanent and light-fast, Charvin Extra Fine Oils are designed to accurately reflect the hues of nature, making them ideal for Plein air painting. The smooth and creamy texture lends itself perfectly to Alla prima painting, yet the high pigment concentration also allows the paint to be thinned down to the most subtle and luminous glazes (as with any Poppy Oil-based paint, remember to follow the fat over-lean method of painting). Largest color range in the world! The Charvin Extra Fine palette is available in 20ml, 60ml, or 150ml tubes. GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics - Bone Black, 1 GallonSave Up to30%Off list
Starting At: 8.74
Black Golden Heavy Body Acrylic Paints- Professionally Loved Acrylics! The original line of paints! GOLDEN Heavy Body acrylic paints are known to be exceptionally smooth with a thick, buttery consistency and contain the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle available to the professional artist. These colors offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added. Each Heavy Body acrylic color is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colors that tolerate higher pigment "loads" dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colors that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading, dry to a glossy finish and tend to be more transparent. Heavy Body colors contain no additives, such as matting agents, therefore the gloss of each color will be different. Key Features:* Exceptionally smooth, rich, buttery consistency* Dries quickly, permanent and archival in quality* Ability to "stand up" and retain brush strokes* All HB colors are thixotropic in nature* Retain excellent flexibility when dry, diminishing the possibility of cracking* Heavy Body viscosity can also be reduced successfully with water* No flattening agents* No opacifiers added to colors* Clearest and cleanest quality* 101 different colors, shades and tints* 30 colors are mixture colors, the rest of produced from single, unique pigments* Concentrated/Chemically Pure Cadmiums Perfect For:* Approved for professional artist* 100% acrylic binder* Freeze-thaw stability* "stand up" and retain brush strokes or palette knife marks on the canvas* Largest assortment of unique pure pigments* There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added* Can be mixed with all of our GOLDEN Mediums, Gels and other paint lines C.P. Cadmiums = A grade that has a high concentration of cadmium and is considered the highest quality. The C.P. designation has been associated with both “Chemically Pure” and "Concentrated Pigment". Which translation you come across will often depend on the source and context. In terms of “(CC)”, it refers to “Concentrated Cadmium” and was adopted by the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) as a way to differentiate higher quality cadmiums from lesser quality cadmium-barium pigments. All Heavy Body colors are thixotropic in nature This means that when brushing or stirring, the paints actually lose viscosity and feel much thinner. The faster the paints are moving, the thinner they feel. Returned to a state of rest, the paints gradually increase in thickness until they are again restored to their formulated viscosity. The Heavy Body line of acrylics contains no additional flattening agents, opacifiers or other solids that might interfere with the clarity of our pigments Please note: The items on this page are available at the Best Lowest Price Possible and no further discounts can be applied.
