You can blend color, add back tooth, or whiten areas with Brush and Pencil Colored Pencil additives. Powder Blender is a non-toxic archival blending lubricant for colored pencils. The blending powder unlocks oil-based colored pencils so that you can make corrections and even erase areas. With Touch-Up Texture, you can recover lost surface tooth in your drawing. All you need to do is apply a small amount of Touch-Up Texture, allow it to dry, and add new layers of colored pencil. Or use it to create bright white highlights by mixing it with their Titanium White Powder. You can also apply Titanium White Powder with an applicator sponge in areas where you need to add white. No matter what you need to fix in your drawing, Brush and Pencil have the additive for the job. Key Features: * Colored pencil additives * Each additive has its own characteristics * Archival colored pencil tools * Sifter's included with powders * Glass bottle comes with a brush applicator Perfect For: * Oil-based colored pencils * Blending color * Adding back tooth * Whitening areas and highlights * Works best on rigid toothy surfaces * Apply with sponges or short bristle brushes Powder Blender Jar + Sifter: Powder Blender is a non-toxic and archival dry blending lubricant for colored pencils. The non-toxic powder works best on rigid, toothy surfaces like gessoed panels and sanded paper. You can dispense the powder with the included sifter and blend it with a sponge or short bristle brush. Powder Blender unlocks oil-based colored pencils and makes everything adjustable, correctable, and erasable. The powder performs best with oil-based pencils, but you can use it to pretreat a wax-based drawing before adding more layers. Once everything is blended, you can secure the layer with Fixative. Titanium White Jar + Sifter: Brush and Pencil took the Titanium White found in colored pencils and created a ground-breaking powder with it. The white powder is completely opaque and has excellent covering power. In areas where you need white, you can apply Titanium White powder with an applicator sponge. If you use too much, you can lift it back with mounting putty. Mix a pinch of Titanium White with a few drops of Brush and Pencil's Touch-Up Texture to add highlights. You can apply the creamy mixture with a detail brush. Once dry, you can draw over the highlights. Touch-Up Texture Bottle: Recover lost tooth in your drawings with a bottle of Touch-Up Texture. All you need to do is apply a small amount of Touch-Up Texture, let it dry, and add new layers of colored pencil. Or mix it with Colored Pencil Titanium White to create bright white highlights. The color system allows for middle tone, dark, and highlight tone availability to aid in the creation of the most lifelike works of art. If you LOVE Prismacolor, You will LOVE Cezanne® - The same - if not better - performance for a better value! Over the years, the binders for the lead have been significantly improved. These pencils have the state of the art binders, which allow the color to release easily onto any paper, board, and even canvas! The lead is characterized as being soft with a large 3.3mm diameter lead that can hold a crisp, sharp point for pinpoint control if required. Pre-sharpened premium pencils allow for great blending, layering, and shading with each other. The soft, vibrant colored leads are easier to blend, shade, and layer. One of the most often overlooked qualities of a pencil is the wood used to encase the lead. However, this is as important as the lead itself. Many lower-cost colored pencils use soft or cheap wood. You can notice this when sharpening. Unfortunately, if you have purchased such a set, you know this already. Cezanne® colored pencils use top quality hardwood that is easy to sharpen. The lead is bonded to the casement, so it is unbelievably break-resistant during the sharpening process. Although this technology has been around for years, many of the cheap brands don't use it because it costs more money. Often, the barrel finish is widely overlooked. However, this, too, has been aided by superior matching techniques of resin color and colored lead. The ends of Cezanne® pencils are dipped twice. The first dip provides a good seal, and the second dip offers a very close depiction of the colored lead, making color selection easy. The final test of any colored pencil set is the assortment of colors. Too often, cheap pencils use cheap pigments, and for the most part, many companies don't work with real artists. Cezanne's color range has been created with a great amount of input from artists such as yourself and is high quality and non-toxic. You can use the selection for portraiture, landscapes, seascapes, and varied brilliant designs. Colorless Blender Box of 6 Mix and soften your colored pencil drawings with Cezanne's pigment-free blenders. The colorless wax allows you to blend and soften colors without altering or dulling colors for a more painterly effect. Non-photo Blue Box of 6: Non-photo blue pencils are perfect for initial sketches, especially for digital pieces. The pencils originated over 80 years ago when it was discovered that this particular blue is unphotographable. Modern scanners and cameras can detect non-photo blue, but with some simple photo editing, those marks are easily erased. See More
