White Famous watercolor panels hand-mounted with 140lb. 100% cotton acid-free watercolor paper Your choice of 140lb. papers are mounted to the finest Da Vinci Birch wood surfaced panels with acid-free and waterproof adhesive. This allows you as an artist to soak surface before painting or use dry as you like. The mounted paper acts exactly as it would in a watercolor block or sheet paper. Unlike boards these are totally archival and for permanent works of art. Archival canvas panels crafted by our in house skilled artisans! Please note: Panels are made to order. Panels are hand-mounted with 140lb. 100% cotton acid-free watercolor paper choices:* Arches Natural White: Hot Press, Cold Press or Rough* Arches Bright White: Hot Press, Cold Press or Rough* Fabriano Artistico Bright White: Hot Press, Cold Press, Soft Press or Rough* Canson Heritage: Hot Press, Cold Press or Rough* Stonehenge Aqua: Hot Press or Cold Press 7/8" thick panels are best if you wish to custom frame your finished works. You can spray with an acrylic coating only and frame under glass, or use Golden polymer coatings in gloss, matte, or satin finishes and frame without glass. For a frameless presentation, spray with an acrylic coating to seal the artwork and make it waterproof. 1-5/8" thick panels are for frameless presentation. You can stain or paint the edges as desired. After painting spray with an acrylic coating to make the work waterproof. Then you can seal using Golden polymer coatings in gloss, matte or satin finishes. For a resin finish we recommend Pebeo Glazing Resin. So never worry about buckling of the paper, get a perfect painting experience and go frameless if you like.
