Join Jimmy Leslie, Resident Artist and Director of The Fine Art Collective Education program for Winsor & Newton for a fun and informative watercolour demo and Q&A. Jimmy will introduce the Professional Watercolour range from Winsor & Newton along with their NEW synthetic brush and paper range. Jimmy will share his own watercolours, paint live, discuss technique, and answer all your questions. This will be a great opportunity to learn about pigment characteristics, student vs professional grade paint, genuine vs hue colors and more. About Jimmy Leslie: Jimmy Leslie is painter, former college art professor and currently Resident Artist for the fine art brands Liquitex and Winsor & Newton. Jimmy also directs The Fine Art Collective education program for the brands in North America and works with the marketing team on assets related to new product development. His paintings have been exhibited across the United States and reside in collections in the US and UK. Of his personal work Jimmy says, “I am constantly trying to achieve simplicity in my paintings which continues to be a lifelong challenge”. When teaching Jimmy enjoys sharing the process of that challenge and seeking ways in which he can convey information to students in a clear and concise manner that helps them overcome stumbling blocks.
