But they SOUND like the same thing. Aren’t they? NOPE. Which can be safely incorporated in the lower levels of an oil painting? Which ones actually DRY (oxidize) over time, and which don’t? Which require a special fixative, and which are able to be varnished with oil painting varnishes? Which works better for mixed media works? Don’t despair.
