Date: Thursday, 11/12 - 5pm - 8pm. Ever wanted to take a pastel class, but then saw the expensive price? Chances are that besides the class fee itself, the supply list was ridiculously long and hundreds and hundreds of dollars, to boot. This class is designed to introduce you to the medium of soft pastels with a supply list that is all-inclusive and super affordable (just under $20.00!), without having to make huge investments in a medium you haven’t yet touched. The paper pochette gives you 12 different colored sheets as well for continued practice. We will discuss the medium while learning about it and practicing basic skills, and then execute two pastel paintings following along step-by-step with the instructor. Please have a drawing board of your choice and artist's masking tape to mount your paper on for class.
