Crescent Select UltiBlack Matboard 4-Ply 32x40" - White Art

Conservation grade matboards protect and lend a finished, professional look to your framed artwork!

Crescent Select UltiBlack Matboards feature conservation grade surface, black core and backing paper made of 100% virgin wood pulp fibers, chemically treated to be free of the acids and lignin’s that normally degrade matboard and artwork. Buffered with calcium carbonate to an alkaline reserve of 3% to 5%, the facing papers of these 32” x 40” matboards exceed the Fine Art Trade Guild’s minimum standards for bleed and fade. With a pH of 8.0-9.5, these alpha-cellulose based 4-ply matboards are suitable for minimum levels of conservation framing and as an alternative to non-conservation matting.
