Gum Arabic is a binder medium that produces a glossy, easy-to-brush color when mixed with dry pigments and water. You can use the water-based Pearl Ex PX Varnish as a medium, or use is as a protective topcoat over your painting. This varnish enables Pearl Ex users to show off the lustrous metallic finish of mixed Pearl Ex paints. The durable varnish also protects artwork on a variety of surfaces. Works great on paper, clay, metal, wood, or plastic and cleans up easily with water.
