The Tryout Cap Set features ten different caps that offer varying spray output from skinny to fat, square to round. The set includes Skinny Maclaim , Skinny White/Beige, Skinny Black/Black, Skinny Aerosol , Needle Cap, Montana Outline, Fat Cap Silver/Black, Fat Cap White/Orange, Fat Cap White/Pink and Calligraphy Cap. The Montana TRYOUT CAP set, something for everyone.

Calligraphy Cap: An effect cap with average spray width of 0.5" to 3". Sprays a calligraphy line.

Fat Cap White/Pink: The Fat Cap Pink is a cap for a wide average spray width of 12cm (4.7“). Perfect for fillin-in, coarse fadings and fat lines. On High Pressure Cans it works similar to our level 5 cap.

Fat Cap White/Orange: The Fat Cap Orange is a cap for a wide average spray width of 8cm (3.2“). Clean medium fat cap.

Skinny Cap White/Beige: The Skinny Cap Beige is a cap for a fine average spray width of 1cm (0.5“). Perfect for fine works, but minimally grubby.

Skinny Cap Black/Black: The Skinny Cap Black/Black is a cap for fine average spray width from 1-1,5cm (0.4“ to 0.6“). Perfect for Metallic Colors.

Skinny Maclaim Cap: The Maclaim Cap is a fine skinny cap for a average spray width of 1cm (0.5“). Perfect for fine fadings and cut-offs.

Skinny Aerosol Cap: The Skinny Cap Aerosol Art is a skinny cap for a fine average spray width of 1cm (0.5“). An allround skinny cap with a soft spray touch, due to the round form.

Needle Cap: The Needle Cap is a effect cap for a average spray width of 0.4cm- 1.2cm. Good for test runs simmilart to a standard cap and great for highlights.

Montana Outline: The Montana OUTLINE CAP is a skinny cap for fine line application that was one of the original "banana" shaped bodies. Also know as the BANANA OUTLINE CAP for this reason, the OUTLINE CAP offers an average clean spray width of 1cm to 4cm. An all rounder of sorts, the OUTLINE CAP is often chosen because of its shape, which creates an alternative feeling to the trigger finger then a round-bodied cap.

Fat Cap Silver / Black: The Fat Cap Silver is a cap with an average spray width of 8-11cm. Good fading cap for all products.

Please note spray width is subject to change with the distance between the can and object being painted. For skinnier lines, spray from a closer distance.
