Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good extra lighting I love this lamp. I was looking for a practical inexpensive extra lighting and this was perfect. Gives out a bright white light, and no detail can scape. I'm an acrylic painter, and many times work at night so this helps a lot as an extra spot of light. It is a little flimsy and will fall over if the base and the head are not facing the same direction. I also wish the cord was longer. Overall a good product for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ott Light Being an Artist requires strong light. It was quite easy to assemble (and I am 87), The light has a slight glare at some angles. I had trouble lighting it from a wall switch but then realized it needed a direct wall outlet.
