Matisse French Painter's Taboret

Matisse is Creative Mark’s taboret that combines full function, exceptional craftsmanship and unrivaled value. Matisse is made in the traditional way out of wood to be very stable and sturdy thus allowing it to hold an enormous range of supplies to make the painting experience more pleasurable. The top has a removable built in plexi-glass palette. Under this palette you may place any colored paper to create a white or grey palette or any color that you like. Next to the palette area is a hinged side support shelf. This shelf folds over to form a table top when not in use and will not make contact with the palette below so you can keep oils on the palette between work sections. This sturdy shelf allows the artist to set out a wide variety of materials and equipment.

Under the table section of the taboret is a wide variation of storage. The extra deep top drawer is divided in two sections allowing for clear separation of two media. The bottom two drawers are ideal for storing anything from stretching pliers to sketch pads. The bottom shelf area has two removable bottom shelves that allow the artist to adapt this area for usage as diverse as setting out gallon jars to laying out small pieces of artwork. The removable nature of these shelves allows maximum flexibility for the ever changing needs of the artist. 

Four casters allow the artist to move the taboret around the studio without any difficulty and lock to provide a secure work environment.
