SP MIX CONTROL ALMOND FILBERTS (115)
SP MIX is a proprietary blend of soft hairs that feels like Fitch but holds more color. SP MIX is great for glazing, painting exact strokes, and adding fine details to small areas. The hair has a semi-coarse feel.
These almond filberts will surely be the workhorse for much of your painting. The hair mix provides an excellent controlled feel with the proper heft and tapered shape to work even in the smallest areas. The hair holds an abundance of color, so you will find it more often than not to be your go-to brush. They are wonderful for building loose details.

KOLINSKY SABLE ALMOND FILBERTS (116)
KOLINSKY SABLE ALMOND FILBERTS are made of only the finest Kolinsky hair. Natural sable hair is not as full and springy as it used to be because of climate change. New York Central® used Kolinsky hair from the vault to make these brushes so that you can experience what it is like to paint with real sable.
You will immediately notice that hair is very absorbent, super soft, and ideal for detailed areas. They have the wonderful springy character of Kolinsky and a thick and bushy construction so that you can use them for expressive painting and classical techniques.

HOG BRISTLE SHORT ALMOND FILBERTS (117)
