All Lascaux Thick Bodied Artist Acrylic colors dry to a consistent satin finish. The richness of the pigment along with the uniform character of the paint film produces vivid compositions not capable with any other brand. Colors are intensely pigmented, extraordinarily lightfast, and completely resistant to aging. They layer well without shrinking and cover exceptionally. Colors do not oxidize, yellow or crack even in the thickest layers. Synthetic Iron Oxide colors are substituted for natural earth colors to produce a richness in hue not possible with natural pigments. The range includes both transparent and opaque colors.
