I'm a specialist watercolor painter of more than 30 years, I've tried and tested everything and these are the products I love! Mix every colour and value imaginable with my set of 4 transparent colours. Fabriano Artistico is a great watercolor paper and will give you great results. It's excellent for beginners because it's the same paper I use for my exhibition work. A soft, fat (round or flat) brush that holds lots of water is the key to painting watercolour washes.
