Date/Time: Saturday, 11/14 - 1pm - 4pm. Do you enjoy a little Glitz in your work? A touch of a special piece of Collage paper? Then this is the workshop for you! In this workshop, we will paint on either- Pre-gessoed panels or Arches oil paper- to create unique works in Oil/Cold Wax Medium! Creating a base with oil/cold wax medium- then adding in gold, silver or copper leafing and beautiful collage papers will allow your paintings to sing! Using a very Wabi Sabi approach, we will have fun adding these extra elements to our oil/cold wax paintings! Experiment, Explore, and Express -your artistic voice- in this workshop! Extras you may want to use during class: Messermeister scraper, Anything to make texture: stencils, stamps, mesh, grid, cheesecloth, collage papers, corrugated cardboard, tissue paper, freezer paper for palette, a spray bottle for Gamsol, wet wipes, paper towels, and gloves.
