Supplies, information and details for: V2040 Expressing Abstract Landscapes and Nature in Oil & Cold Wax Medium Taught by Lisa Boardwine

Date/Time: Friday, 11/13 - 1pm - 4pm. Finding the essence of a special place or a memory from nature will be our jumping off point for this workshop! We will look at photos, then work intuitively to create abstract paintings in oil and cold wax that convey our feelings of a landscape remembered or textures found in nature. By adding a touch of mystery and depth through layering, excavating, and veiling, we will express the essence of place & time in an abstract way! Extras you may want to have on hand: Messermeister scraper, anything to make texture: stencils, stamps, mesh, grid, cheesecloth, collage papers, corrugated cardboard, tissue paper, freezer paper for the palette, a spray bottle for Gamsol, wet wipes, paper towels, and gloves
