Date: Friday, 11/13 - 5pm - 8pm. Award-winning artist and career art educator Bryan M Wilson will walk you through his process for quickly capturing your subject’s likeness on canvas with a limited oil palette. He will share his thoughts on lighting, considering the overall composition, drawing to quickly establish the feature’s proportions and then how to proceed to mix and apply color. Wilson will reveal his suggestions for dealing with mediums and solvents and even what brushes work for certain applications. This is a great introductory way to experiment with oil paint if you have experience drawing or working in acrylic, or a beginner wishing to refine their process.
