Faber Castell's new Matte Graphite Pencils offer a rich matt finish without glare. With little or no light reflection, these matt pencils allow you to present your art in the best light. Light exposure is a recurring challenge to graphite artists. Reflections can enhance flaws and hide details. Frustrating glare is not an issue with Pitt Graphite Matt pencils; because the dark soft matt formula reduces light reflection. This means that details are not lost under reflection; and digitizing (photographing, scanning) is simple. Like all Faber-Castell pencils, the lead is break-resistant and lightfast. The Pitt Graphite Matt pencils come in eight degrees of hardness: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 10B, 12B, and 14B.
