Cardinali black frame has a gold lip and double alpha-cellulose mat (top white, inner metallic gold) for both 8-1/2" x 11" and 11" x 14" certificates.

Cardinali silver leaf frame comes with double alpha-cellulose mat (top white, inner metallic silver) for both 8-1/2" x 11" and 11" x 14" certificates.

Why it is important to choose conservation framing & UV protection? Make your work last!

A mount and frame should always be selected to protect as well as enhance a picture. "Conservation framing" is a term used to describe the use of materials and techniques which provide protection to framed works of art on paper. UV protection is important! We use UV filtering glass and it should be strongly considered for conservation level. Light exposure has a pronounced effect on paper condition and pigments. The harmful effects of light exposure causes permanent damage that manifests in fading, yellowing/discoloration, embrittlement, and other irreversible changes.

ARCHIVAL QUALITY: To ensure the upmost protection, we provide with every frame an acid-free double alpha-cellulose mat to protect your document from dirt, dust and other harmful pollutants and Conservation Grade 99% UV Glass providing protection against sunlight, fading and aging. We include a mat opening equipped with archival backing and archival mounting strips should you ever need to remove your diploma or document at a later date without damaging it.
