These professional quality wood frames are finished with three coats of urethane, which is UV cured, two electrostatic coats, and a final UV cured finish. The finish is applied to the wood and hardened via a chemical reaction triggered by ultraviolet light. The UV process ensures a brilliant smooth finish that is more durable than other frame finishes on the market. Each frame comes with a sheet of optically clear glazing and rigid MDF backing board. D-ring hangers are already attached to the high-density backing board, so you don't need to worry about attaching hardware to the frame.
