Escoda's Bravo Light Ear Ox Hair Brushes are crafted using the hair from inside of the ox's ear. One of the earliest hairs used for brush making, Ox Hair Brushes historically can be traced back beyond ancient Egyptian artisans, decorating the inside of pyramids and temples using Ox Hair brushes. Ox Hair has been used through the ages for brush making due to the capacity of the hair to hold a large amount of pigment, especially with oil and watercolor. The Bravo Brush line was created with short, well-lacquered handles, designed to excel at tight detail painting.

Bravo 6115 Series: Extra Long Round Brushes feature a slightly squared end on the brush tip, and very short, shiny, varnished handles for ultimate control. Traditionally a fillet painting brush.

Bravo 6218 Series: Long Filbert Brushes with a long tip pointed tip for tight detail spots, but with the ability to give a larger, wider pull for greater area coverage when painting a full stroke.

Bravo 6318 Series: A Long Flat Brush, this brush series features the ability to create nice controlled strokes that cover more area with paint while maintaining a clean square edge for lettering or detail.

Bravo 6421 Series: A Pointed, Long Length Round Brush, this brush series offers tight detail control in a sharp point.
