Accelerate Drying Time With Liquin
Winsor and Newton Liquin™ Mediums are ready-made mixtures of solvent and linseed oil. There are five types of Liquin, and each will help you accelerate the drying times of your oil paint. Each variety has a slightly different formula, but they are all related to the original Liquin recipe.

Liquin™ Original - halves the drying time of oil colour and reduces brush stroke retention. Creates a smooth, gel-like paint film that is easier to work with. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier.
Liquin™ Light Gel - halves the drying time of oil colour and produces a smooth gel. Creates low-viscosity, gel-like paint film that is easier to work with and reduces brush stroke retention. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier.
Liquin™ Fine Detail - The most fluid medium within the Liquin™ family. Add to colour to produce a low-viscosity mixture. Increases fluidity and reduces brushstroke retention. Liquin™ allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier.
Liquin™ Impasto - A paste-like, semi-gloss version of Liquin™ that halves the drying time of oil and produces a crisp texture. Adds viscosity to your paint that retains marks from brushes or palette knives. It allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. Speeds drying (touch dry in 1-6 days, depending on paint thickness). Resists yellowing. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat.
Liquin™ Oleopasto - A paste-like, semi-matte version of Liquin™ that halves the drying time of oil. Creates a viscous paint that holds many marks from brushes or palette knives. Keeps the oily texture of pure oil paint. Allows the paint to dry faster and makes working with multiple layers easier. (touch dry in 1-6 days, depending on colour paint thickness). Suitable for impasto & texture work. Resists yellowing. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat.
Blending & Glazing Medium - Adjusts oil paint's viscosity and drying behavior for seamless colour blends and even glazes. Improves transparency.
