Made with Ampersand’s 1/8" True Artist Hardbord™ and Archiva-Seal™ technology, the surface is acid-free, non-yellowing, and archival. Perfect for all painting techniques with traditional and water-mixable oils, acrylics and acrylic gouache, and even brittle paints like Egg Tempera and Caseins! A delicate enough surface for glazing, fluid brush strokes, and tight detail, it is still tough enough to hold up to the most rigorous palette knife painting, collage, and mixed media applications.
