Designed for use with oil colour, it is made from polyester filaments and provides a stiffer alternative to sable but is softer than hog bristle. Designed with filaments that mimic natural mongoose in shaded of ivory, gold, and brown, this beautiful series is excellent for subtle blending, glazing, and fine detail work.
As a synthetic brush, Monarch is more durable than natural hair and has excellent spring, and is less prone to damage from solvents or paint. Suitable for oils or acrylics, Monarch Brushes can easily manage moving heavy bodied oil colors or acrylics.
