New York Central® developed these convenient Empty Watercolor Palette Boxes for those creative moments when inspiration strikes. Each sturdy, reusable box is coated in easy-to-clean enamel and contains 12, 24, or 48 empty half pans. Simply fill the pans with watercolors of your choice, let them dry, and re-wet with water to paint. New York Central® half pans snap snugly into the pan rails and can be rearranged.
The inside of the palette and the empty pans are white, so you can easily see the colors you're mixing. Each box features a fold-out palette with mixing wells. You can even remove the pan holder and use the bottom of the palette box as one large mixing area. A thumb ring on the bottom of the palette allows you to support it with one hand as you paint. These lightweight palette boxes are ideal for travel and everyday studio use.
