Whisper colors by Tusc & Pine are subtle, high-key tints made with white and a hint of color. They help underpaintings glow and make natural highlights and reflections look real.

- Mass Tones (upper left) are the unaltered colors, applied in a gradient thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom.
- Glazes (lower left) have been thinned with clarified linseed oil.
- Tints (upper right) are a 1:1 mixture of the color and Great White Oil Paint.
- Tones (center right) are a 2:1:1 mixture of the color, Tusc & Pine Ivory Black, and Great White Oil Paint.
- Shades (lower right) are a 1:1 mixture of the color and Tusc & Pine Ivory Black.
