The color diary is spiral-bound with removable pages so that you can work on multiple sheets simultaneously. Once dry, you can reinsert the pages between layers of the included glassine, so they don't stick together. The top of each color chart has a space for writing the paint brand, the date, or an assignment title if it's for class. Each swatch box contains a bold black line to show transparency or separate half-tones.
