Directions:
Your dipping container should be two to three times the width of the item to ensure theres room for enough ink for full coverage. Fill the container with room temperature water. The paints open time is about a minute, depending on the air temperature and how much color you have on the water. Do not over-stir the colors. Stirring too much tends to create little bubbles in the water. Submerge the item you want to marble vertically into the container of water. This dipping method is much easier and often yields a more interesting pattern than marbling on just one side. Be sure to remove any excess color from the surface of the water while the item is submerged before pulling it up. Clean spills with isopropyl alcohol when wet. Use xylene or similar solvent to clean up when dry. Once fully cured (24 hours) a brushable, water-based varnish is suitable to use as a direct coating on Easy Marble.
Marble color adheres to paper, glass, plastic, metal, wax, wood, paper-mache, polyester, and smooth foam.
- Touch-dry after 15 minutes; fully cured in 24 hours
