Gamblin Artists Oil - Indigo, 37ml Tube
A true, deep, indigo blue. Formulated to work perfectly as a rich, cool blue. This indigo is softer in intensity, so it works so much better with the colors already on your palette. Gamblin put time and effort into striking the right balance between mineral and modern pigments. By formulating this indigo with the earthy and moderate to low tint strength Ultramarine Violet and Raw Sienna, Gamblin created an indigo with more range and subtlety.
This Indigo offers the depth of a cool chromatic black without overwhelming the palette, while providing easy access to smokey blue glazes when thinned. It also greys down easily in tints and is mutable in mixtures.
