I have a lot of water and ink pencils. The pencil boxes fit perfectly in these drawers. I got them on a great sale. I bought two. I wish I had bought one more! They stack well in most book shelves. Be sure and air out when you get them for a couple of days. If you apply a bit of paraffin to the drawers they slide perfectly.

I like it so much that I bought two others for my other kinds of pencils. The drawers slide well and are not to big to handle. Moreover, it smells good and my husband is jealous and would like something of the like adapted for the garage.

It holds a lot of pencils and a second units fits right on top so it doesn't take up much room and you work surface. It can be used right out of the box or, I stained it to match my other wood and it took the stain beautifully. I bought two and just may go for three!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wil E from Compact, stackable draws I love these drawers. The drawers open and close so smoothly compared to one other set l had already bought here in the UK. I like the wooden draw handles which look much nicer than the tiny knobs on the other one l bought (which make it look a little cheap and tacky but that’s personal observation!). The only thing I will say is that the foam inserts in each draw has an incredibly strong unpleasant odour which I’m hoping will dissipate with time and use and some of the draw fronts had come a little detached from the sides but they pressed back into place and have stayed there. I was wondering if there is a cheaper way to send them abroad? I bought 3 sets which came as one parcel which cost me 100 US Dollars and then I had to pay £40UK import tax. So all up it was quite expensive but I wanted these particular drawers which I saw on Lachri Fine Art and she loves them! I agree, they are lovely and I love wooden things! By the way, Lisa of Lachri must send a lot of people to you as your business is mentioned almost every live stream!! It would also be nice if in these times of technology that overseas patrons could use their own debit/credit card as PayPal does not offer a competitive exchange rate which must cost you a lot of prospective customers?! However, your service was faultless and the live chat extremely handy. I’ve added a photo to show you the the difference between yours and the one I bought here.

Is the smell of these boxes from a pesticide?

Thank you for contacting us. The manufacturer that varnishes this piece of furniture will often box up the product before the varnish has fully dried. As a result, of the varnished pice drying in a cardboard box, the wood will occasionally soak up the odor of the varnish which would not happen if the wood was given the chance to air out before being packed. We do apologize for any inconvenience this issue might cause you. The smell has not occurred with each piece, but the odor does go away once the piece is taken out of the box and aired out. Will this box hold the small tubes of watercolor paint?

Yes, depending on the tube size and manufacturer some small tubes of 20ml or 37ml watercolor will fit in the drawers if you remove the foam lining. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi! Will these fit copic markers and various ink refills? And if so, how many do you think would fit? I can’t really see from the picture if storing markers would be possible. And if they are if it’d be worth it depending on how many will fit...
