Everyday Items to Amazing Art
Art is everywhere
Although we at Jerry’s Artarama are bigger fans of fine art, every now and then, we get absolutely amazed by what artists are creating out of even the most mundane items. Art truly is everywhere and made from everything, from tape to hardware to rubix cubes.
We’ve scoured the internet and here are just a few amazing examples of incredible art made from everyday items:
Packaging Tape
Both of these images were created by Amsterdam street artist Max Zorn using just Brown Packaging Tape. You can find out more about Max and see his works at his gallery.
Wine Corks
Each of these mosaics were made entirely of wine corks and was completed by Saimir Straty(pictured above). You can see more of his world record holding mosaics on his Facebook page.
Screws
Both of these works were completed by Andrew Meyers(pictured above) with industrial screws on a hard backboard and then painted. You can see more of his artwork at his website.
Rubix Cubes
Both of these mosaics were made completely of completed rubix cubes. Each was made of solved rubix cubes by artist Pete Fecteau. The mosaic depicting Martin Luther King took 4242 rubix cubes to complete the work while the Einstein Mosaic took twice as many cubes. You can read more about Pete Fecteau and his work, check out his website.
