2013 SoHo Fall Painting Contest Winners

Check out the amazing winners of our Fall painting contest!

Its obvious. Our artists have been working hard. When we got the submissions to our Fall 2013 SoHo Urban Artist Painting Contest, lets just say it awhile to tally up the votes. Each contestant painted us something with either SoHo Acrylic Paints or SoHo Oil Paints and we got some incredible works of art. You all are SO talented, it's crazy! We received so many great entries, it took several hard rounds of voting to find our winners, but here's who we decided were the best this year!

First Place Winner

"Tea Time"
by Kyra Wilson

"I first tried SoHo Acrylics as free samples included in my shipment of art supplies. I realized they had a smooth quality and vibrant color, as well as being affordable and have used them ever since."

Second Place Winner

"Le Grand Renaud"
by Marcel Franquelin

"Through the years, I've used many different brands of oil paints. Some are too oily, some too thick, or weak in pigment. I worked in a very traditional, realistic manner, and therefore I plan my work and my palette quite carefully. I do not like surprises interfering in my painting strategies. SoHo is definitely among the oil paints I love using, as it is reliable and consistent."

Third Place Winner

"Police Cycle"
by Victor Vicini

"The brilliant shades of color available to me by SoHo paints is outstanding! I love the texture and smoothness of the paints. I would definitely recommend SoHo paints to other artists."

Lets give a big hand for all of our incredibly talented winners. To see some more great paintings from some of our honorable mentions, see the rest of our SoHo Fall Contest Winners! And keep your eyes peeled for more fun art contests coming next year.
